Description
This module requires Unity 6 and Game Creator 2 in order to work.

Create parkour movements for both the player and any NPC! Define different prefabs as traversable, easily set up the animations with the Motion tools and see the results in just a few clicks!

Two components determine the type of obstacle to overcome.

– Traverse Link: Characters automatically interact, vault or jump the obstacle without any kind of direct control.

– Traverse Interactive: Characters require direct input in order to move around the obstacle.

Enemies and NPCs can appear smarter by using Traverse Links and automatically move around the scene using the Navigation Mesh as NavMesh Agents.

Each component has a Motion asset that configures how characters interact with the obstacle.

An optional Actions asset allows the player to play any ability while executing a traverse action, such as shooting from cover, jumping off a zip-line or letting go off a ledge when climbing.

The Traversable package also includes a collection of elements that are ready to use out of the box, including:

Balance beams
Free-Climbing surface and Ledge Climbing
Moving in low and high Covers
Using a Grapple-Hook
Jumping small and large obstacles
Climbing a Ladder
Sliding Down hills
Sliding and Crawling under obstacles
Vaulting over obstacles
Wall-Running and Wall-Sliding
Using Ziplines

All examples can be used as templates to create new skills using custom animations.
