You can connect any game object with any prefab.
● Preserves your data and hierarchy
You have a broken prefab with a ton of stuff added to it as overrides? No problem. Prefab Fixer will preserve any overrides. It uses the Unity serializer behind the scenes, so anything it can serialize works here too.
● Safe and easy to use
Three clicks, that’s all you need to fix your prefabs. And in case something goes wrong there is full UNDO support built in.

Comments in the code explain everything. Uses assembly definitions to improve compile times.

☕ Use cases
Have you ever copied an object multiple times only to realise afterwards that you should have made it into a prefab first?
Use “Prefab > Fix” and you can make your objects into prefabs and convert all the changes into overrides automatically.
You have placed like a thousand instances of prefab A in your scene but now they need to be replaced with prefab B?
You need to replace an old prefab in your scene with a new one but you know the old prefab has like 100 overrides?
For some reason you have got new GUIDs for your prefabs and now you need to manually patch the ASCII scene files to recover?
⚙️ Installation
Download the Asset and import it into your project.
You are done, no additional setup is needed.
✍️ Usage
Right-click on your broken prefab and choose “Prefab > Fix” or “Prefab > Replace”. Then choose your prefab and hit “Fix All”. Done!
