Grand Earth ver. Start
“Sharing is caring”
3d model of the earth divided by country.
Consists of separate pieces:
1. 200 countries and territories with real boundaries (all mesh).
2. 1016 control points (planes).
3. Water sphere.
UV map of each country is flat and located in a separate pixel on the color map.
All countries gameobjects signed the names (transliteration from Russian in the majority, see screenshots).
Placed on the surface of the control points which may be useful as the main area (sometimes city) countries.
Performance tested on Galaxy Tab 10.1 – everything is fine!
